Community Day Pie Celebration & Contest

The Lost River Market and Deli 2019 Community Day and Pie Contest will be taking place on August 24th. We will be kicking things off with pie voting at 11am. After voting commences everyone is welcome to enjoy eating pie until it runs out! If you would like to enter a pie in this years contest stop into the store for a pie registration form. All customers will also receive 10% off all day on every purchase!

Pie Contest Rules & Information

● Open to bakers of all ages. 

● You may enter pies in as many categories as you want. 

● Homemade crusts are admirable but you can use store bought if you need to. We just want your pie. 

● All entries will be assigned a number at registration to allow for anonymity during judging. (so, no, you can't stay by your pies to persuade judges) 

● Pies must be dropped off by 11 am, Sat. Aug. 25 

● Plan to share your pie during our pie eating portion of the celebration.  

Judging: 

● Judging is conducted by a panel of judges 

● Decision of the judging is final. 

● Judging will be from 11am to Noon 

● Winner will be announced at 1:00 pm 

● People's Choice Award will be chosen by pie eaters during celebration. Participate in the free Pie Walk from 12:30 – 1PM and win hand pies and pie cookies to enjoy. Pie sharing and celebration from Noon-3pm.  Let's gather and eat pie together.
